Lachlynn

I was driving for a while the other day and Lachlynn started to cry. She hates the car because we took her on a cross country trip for 32 hours. I thought that was why she was crying, but when we got home and I went to get her out of the car this is what I found! I was laughing so hard, poor girl.

I love this little picture of Lachlynn. I just thought I would post this one.

Here is my first cake!I only had 5 minutes at the end of class to decorate it, so it's not my best work. I had a lot of fun.

J.D.was showing lachlynn the cake, he held it up close to her face and she moved her head quick right into the frosting!! I was cleaning frosting out of her nose all nigt!

Iam posting this picture because my Mom told me the day that she wanted to see a picture of her camie cookie.

I just love this picture! I love how big and brown Lachlynn's eyes are. J.D. always says that her eyes sparkle, they are beautiful.I just thought I would do a little update on Lachlynn. 1. She flashes a smile at anyone who talks to her, 2. she is starting to talk and make all sorts of different sounds,3. she just loves that baby who smiles back at her in the mirror, she will spend a good 15 minutes just smiling and talking to herself, 4. My new favorite thing she does is laugh, I can get her to crack up! Anyways, we are doing good out here and can't believe how fast the time is going! We have already been here for a whole month, Wow! I started a cake decorating class and I have to make my very first cake. I will take a picture for you. Iam kinda afraid of taking this class, because I learned how to make four different types of yummy butter cream frosting's, and anyone who knows me knows that I LOOOOOVE butter cream frosting.
Here are just a few of my favorite things out here in good old PA
1. Lachlynn and I get to have lunch with J.D. since he works so close to home.
2. They have beautiful running trails
3. Once it is dark, if you go out side you can see a bunch of twinkling fire flys
4. My cake class
5. we have such a welcoming ward.
we miss and love you all, can't wait to see you!!!

Weeknd in upstate New York

This past weekend we went to Palmyra and the Sacred Grove. It was so neat to be completely alone in the grove as there was not very many people there during this time of year. It was so fun to see the actual places where the church started, and so many wonderful things happened. We got to see the actual bricks that Joseph Smith touched and the fireplace where he hid the plates from a mob. We had a good time and definitely recharged our spiritual batteries. Here are some pictures.

New York, New York!!!

I will warn you that there are a lot of pictures! We the first picture that you will see is in honor of my nephew Larkin. That kid loves snakes! As we were walking around New york I saw this man holding snakes. You could pay 5 dollars to have the snake around your neck and get a picture. I thought of Larkin and I know that if he were there he would be first in line to wear that snake around his neck. We saw the statue of liberty and took a boat ride. We all wore a sweet tatoo and some sweet glasses in honor of lady liberty. Lachlynn as always was great! We walked down time square and she slept through everything. Then we went hiking for memorial day and saw really cool waterfalls. It was a long hike too. I just can't believe all the things Lachlynn has done in her two months of life, lets recap.. drove across 8 states(32 hours), saw the statue of liberty, and gone hiking. It's too bad she wont remember. Well we are having great time and getting more used to living her in scranton. We miss you all and love you so much! This weekend we are going to the Sacred grove. We will have more pictures of that next time.
P.S. My sister had her sweet baby boy Boston on Sat. go to her blog to see the little man.
