34 weeks

Time is really flying by! I don't know who really reads this blog anymore,but I like posting my pregnancy pictures so I can see my progress. Anyways 34 weeks and feeling great. I am still teaching my gym classes with some modifications of course. I am feeling a lot of pressure down low these days which I hope is a good sign. I hope that this labor will be quicker then the last. I am going to the Dr. every 2 weeks now, that means it's getting CLOSE!

4 years old!

This little girl is 4! I can't believe how old she is getting. Here are a few things about Lachlynn.... 1.she loves to wear flip flops 2.she loves to watch "leap frog, letter factory" 3.she loves to learn, loves it when you teach her something new. 4.takes dance and loves it 5.loves her Heavenly Father and KNOWS he loves her 6.she is kind to her little sister and tries hard to be kind to others 7.loves the song" This girl is on fire" 8.loves all things sweet (just like her mom) 9.Likes to do chores...taking out the trash and washing windows are her specialties 10.loves to play with her cousins any chance she gets. We love our Lachlynn Aleah She really wanted a "puppy" party and that's what she got. She wanted a brand new shirt that had a puppy on it. She wanted a cake that looked like a dog, and some dog cupcakes. I had so much fun making the cakes, I really liked making the dog bones out of fondant. Oh she also wanted to go to IHOP for her birthday too, so we went to IHOP for brunch. I think all in all it was a great day. Sure love this girl! :)

32 weeks, and all moved in!

This is me at 32 weeks!! I can't believe it, in 7 weeks I will have a baby boy! Please disregard my appearance and sweats. That's all I have been wearing the last few days while I unpack everything. I have been feeling really good, just getting more uncomfortable as I get bigger. So as far as our move, it is all done. I wanted to have everything unpacked in one weekend, and I am happy to say that EVERYTHING is unpacked!! We had so much help from family and friends, which helped a lot since I can't really being lifting a whole lot these days. We absolutely love our new house and I will post pictures soon. Next project: getting baby Cashton's room ready :)

Happy 30 weeks!

Well I have made to the big 30, I am actually 31 weeks now, but this is me at 30 weeks. Well I just wanted to give you a little update on the babe. I went into the Dr. two weeks ago and they were worried about some calcifications on the baby's heart. They did another ultra sound and they said everything looks good and there's nothing to worry about. What a relief! Also in the ultra sound they could see that the baby had hair. The lady said that they usually can't see hair for another couple weeks, So he might be my only baby born with HAIR!!! He is looking really good. I feel pretty good these days. I have had to tweak my workouts just a bit because my belly is growing, but other then that I am doing pretty good. Oh and we are naming him Cashton Denham Sheppard, we will call him cash for short. Denham is J.D.s middle name (also what the "D" in J.D. stands for). We are getting more and more excited to meet this guy!

28 weeks

We did it! we moved!! It was hard to pack up and know we would never live in that house again. we have been very blessed to have lived in this house. we have loved living in this house and we also made a lot of great friends, that we will miss. As of now we are making ourselves comfortable at my parents for the next 3 weeks till we can move in April 4th. Well here I am at 28 weeks! I am starting to feel uncomfortable. Moving while your 7 months pregnant is not a good idea. I swear this last week my belly really popped! I really look pregnant now. At my 20 week ultrasound they found little spots on the baby's heart. My Dr said it was probably nothing to worry about and that they would do another ultrasound at 28 weeks so we do that tomorrow. It will be fun to see little guy again and hopefully he is healthy and well.

We are moving!

It happened last month. J.D. asked me how I felt about moving. I wasn't prepared for that question. We thought about it that week and looked at building our own house, but the yards are so small compared to what we have now so we kept looking. I wasn't sure we should even move so that sunday we prayed and fasted about it and we got the feeling that Heavenly Father didn't mind if we stayed or moved it was up to us. That answer was even harder. So we put off the move till this summer. Well we happened to find a house we fell in love with that was in west jordan. It was only on there one day and we were the first to look at it and put an offer on it. It has all the things we wanted...good location, big back yard, more room, and it even had quakies my favorite kind of tree. The family that we are buying it from can't move out till April which worked out perfect for us because we hadn't even sold our house. SO in a week and a half we found a house and sold ours! The Lord's hand was definitely in this whole process! He has made everything work out so nicely! So glad I have a Father in Heaven who cares for me! So we move March 8th into my parents house and live till April. We are really excited about the new house! This is me at 26 weeks!!! I thought this pregnancy has flown by so far, but with the move it will go by even faster! I have really noticed my belly growing this week and his kicks are getting a lot harder! I will have a new baby boy before I know it!

24 weeks and ode to hair!

I don't know if you remember, but my Lachlynn has been bald since the day she was born! She takes after me, I was bald until I was 3. Well this last 6 months her hair has really started to come in and it's CURLY! I don't know where she got that. I posted " before and after" pictures. The photo above is the before and look and this after....

I even got an action shot of her hair! J.D. and I often wondered what lachynn would look like with hair and now we know! I sure love our beautiful Lachlynn!! Well here I am at 24 weeks. I am starting to show! Finally since my uterus is tipped backwards so much it really takes time for me to show. I am feeling really good, I can sleep great through the night, and no heart burn. I really can't complain. This pregnancy has been good to me.
